Rio Open ATP 500 Clay

Just flipped the channels on my TV and Rio Open is on, De Bakker vs Clezar, a Brazilian I had never heard before tonight. And the Brazilian won set #1 7:5 but he is trailing 4:2 in the 2nd. It seems every week I hear about a "new" player.

Clezer made the final 8 for the WTF of the challenger tour last year.
That event which was won by Schwartzman. I remember he played not bad there.

I was already before I sent you the message, I watched "Mike and Molly" sitcom on channel 7, then I started flipping forward on my remote, then there it was suddenly a clay event LIVE.

:laydownlaughing There is no NBA games today and I think hockey is very light on Mondays as well. SN1 doesn't show hockey that often anyway. They usually show ATP 500 and up events.

Actually Bellucci was Rafa's first opponent at Roland Garos in 2008 actually he gave Rafa a bit of a test,from memory one of the sets was 7-5.That was the year that Rafa took his clay court game to another level,he didnt drop a set on his way to the final,defeated Federer in 3 easy sets.

I too remember watching that match. He gave a decent fight for half of the match.
But, he gave pretty good thrash talk before the match.

That is by and large correct. Rafa's match is the second match in the night session.
The first match starts at 7 p.m. local time and Rafa will be on court 15 minutes after
it ends.

I got a unanticipated holiday as we had bad weather including ice. So, I may hangout
watch it. Let us all get together to see an upset folks. Get your popcorn ready. :devil

On my TV I watch now Ferrer-Gimeno Traver and they just mentioned that 3 players retired through their matches due to dehydration, it is that humid there.
The players were: Mayer, Giraldo and Schwartzman

I remember now who is Bellucci (big nose). He is very good and he can't give a hard time to anyone, I'm surprised that he has not better ranking :eyepop
