Way to go Ferrer! His 23rd tour title is very impressive. He turns 33 this year but seems to still have something left in him. I don't see a Slam in his future but hope he can stay in the Top Ten for a couple more years.

:clap:clap:clap

So this one, unlike yesterday, went according to the script.
So much about Ferrer fading fast:rolleyes:

Ferrer had a bit of luck here, but give it a couple of months and we'll revisit the idea.:snicker

Heck, let's see what happens next week.;)

I agree with Billie re: not panicking yet.

Losing the non-slam clay events has proven to be meaningless, as Nadal lost THREE clay events last year and still only dropped TWO sets at Roland Garros :snicker

I'd only panic if Nadal is ever down 2 sets to 1 versus Djokovic at Roland Garros (that has never happened).

So we have a long wait to find out if Nadal is in trouble :laydownlaughing

Maybe not so long as you seem to think.

Rafa did much better in all of his comebacks except this year. And since Rafa has shown the worst signs of decline so far, I frankly wouldn't be laughing out loud if I were you.:cover

All good things come to an end eventually, I think the saying says.:exclamation:

A bad starting doesn't mean a decline as more you are insisting about it :-/
