Serena has cited influenza as the reason for the pull out. The tournament is struggling... Kerber has pulled out too citing a thigh injury.

Unless she's 100% then agree - don't go. She doesn't need to take any risks and the main focus should be on the clay swing and Roland Garros.

Serena is a great fighter. It has been a pleasure watching her all of these years. I remember when she first came on the tour and to see her still dominating after playing Capriati, Davenport, Hingis, Ivanovic, Sharapova, and the heirs apparent is nothing short of amazing.
