I thought it would be fun to start an ongoing thread in which one person asks a tennis trivia question of any kind, and then the person who correctly answers it gets to ask the next question.

I'll start:

Who are TWO players to win matches against Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic?

(Edited because rahulpawar found a second player - there are at least two, hopefully not more ;))

Haha, OK, who are the TWO players to beat all four players at least once, one of those two being Marat Safin. There's one other player (at least!).

Crap, rahulpawar - you found a THIRD. I was actually talking about Fabrice Santoro. I was surprised when I saw that he defeated all four and couldn't find anyone else. But it looks like there are at least three.

Since 1970, there have been four players who have won at least three Masters-equivalent tournaments* without winning a Grand Slam; who are those four players?

*The Masters-equivalent tournaments are:
1970-1989: Grand Prix Super Series
1990-2008: ATP Masters Series
2009-Present: ATP World Tour Masters 1000

Marcelo Rios and Andriy Medvedev are two I think.

You're right, although once again I came up short (Davydenko - can't believe I missed him). There's one more.

Nope. He won only two Masters.

The WTF was then called the Masters cup and he beat Federer in Shanghai in that great match not long after Roger returned from being on crutches for his ankle injury. Presumed that counted :)
