Millman has competed well so far in this match,
Novak will serve for the 1st set 5-3

Novak 1st set 63,his first serve has been outstanding so far in this match, depth of shot on both wings,

Novak with the double break now leads 3-0 2nd set
Millman has always been a counter puncher, against Novak you need more weapons to defeat him

I'm not really sure what the deal was with Djokovic's shoulder.....how was it so bad that he had to withdraw against Wawrinka but okay enough that he can play like this in Tokyo?

Something does not add up there.
“Something does not add up there”....Hmmmnn

when Novak is kicking ass, he is the best player in the world. When someone is kicking his junk in the dirt, his shoulder is falling apart and he may need season ending surgery..where is conspiracy theories Front

Nole seems to be back but he had a smooth draw, let's see if he does the same in Shanghai

2016 Doha was pretty easy for him too. He did not lose a set and won the final 6-1, 6-2, although he did have to go to a tiebreak in the second set of the semifinal against Berdych.

Congrats to Novak winning the Tokyo Challenger Event ... I mean, Tokyo 500.

Yeah, almost as easy as getting to the semis of a Slam with a walkover and having to play Diego Schwartzman in the quarters.

I hope so, but I have a feeling the semis and final this year are going to produce some of those marathon Shanghai matches where Djokovic playing the prior week in Tokyo may hurt him. We shall see though. Maybe there will be some upsets in the early rounds.
