I am happy to se Paire playing this well. Win or lose tomorrow, I see him soon breaking into top 20.

The match started, is already in the 2nd set and no commentary? Shocking! Wawrinka was gifted the 1st set; even though he broke himself once! It's like Paire has forgotten how to play the game since yesterday! :p :cover

Top Seed Stan Wawrinka won his 11th career title and 2nd 500 title at the Japan Rakuten Open today. He defeated unseeded Benoit Paire 6-2, 6-4 in the final. This is Wawrinka's 4th title of the year, following Chennai, Rotterdam, Roland Garros and now Tokyo. Time for another Master maybe?
This has been a great year for the finalist Benoit Paire. His ranked was down to No. 149 in February, but since then he has steadily climbed back and will be ranked No. 24 next week. Raven Klassen and Marcelo Melo took the doubles title.
