Oh, but I think Verdasco is better playing on HC than on clay

Sometimes he does because of his big FH. But he's entirely too inconsistent w/ his serve and FH to do any real damage on the faster surfaces.

When is the blockbuster match between the Man and the Teen scheduled? I guess it is their first meeting. The teen did good in his first meeting against both Roger and Rafa? How do you folks think he will do against Stan?

He gets a set. I think Stanimal will prevail in the R1, but go out later in the tournament.

Agree, he played his best four or five years ego but later he became very inconsistent in all surfaces, another bobblehead ;)

Sincerely I'd like more if Rafa would play just a couple of matches, then taking a little rest and then be ready for Wimbledon but not too tired

Will we see what happens when a Teen messes with a Man, or the other way around? :D
We shall see. I would like to think that Wawrinka has this one, but it could get very ugly.

Dimitrov takes the second with 5 straight games. Those break points for a 4-1 lead were crucial for Querrey.

Wawrinka is playing well and it seems that he is going to wear those shorts forever thinking they are giving to him good luck :snicker

Wawrinka beats Kyrgios in straights! Took only 49 minutes! Apparently Kyrgios was sick or something. It's always something with that guy. :cover

In typical Querrey fashion, he loses a match in which he led big time. After the resumption of play this morning, Sam dumps serve at 4-4 on horrific errors and Dimi serves it out. The defending champ escapes 6-4 in the 3rd.

For some reason I thought the Querrey - Dimi match was yesterday :puzzled And I thought Dimi lost, but I'm seeing he won?
