Nice to see a tournament streaming TV from day one - American tournaments could learn a lot from Asia. 9 matches from Tokyo today. Use eventually http://www.streamhunter.eu/tennis-live-streaming-video.html if you want to see a good match ;)

And of course I hope this stunning babe is winning ;)

Venus in tight form as she beats Mona easily in 2 sets. Venus vs. Vika on the horizon...
Multi-slam champion versus two time Aussie Open Champion, this should be good.

Sloane won in straights too.

It would be nice if Venus could "bottle" some of what she brought to her first round match. It's great seeing her have much more winners than errors and close out the match in two sets. In my heart I would love for her to beat Vika, but my head says Vika in two sets.

Thanks Kiu. In the Venus interview after the Mona match they

said they would play tomorrow. But that may be a time difference

thing. Aren't they like a day ahead of us.

Go Maddie

I just about gave up on her when she was down in the 2nd set. It was good fighting from her to come back and win.

I watched Kuzzy. She was going for her shots. Errani could not do much but defend and hope her opponent missed. I was also watching Pennetta until the rain came. Why she kept hitting to Woz's backhand, I could not figure out. If she continues doing that, she will be ousted in two sets.

Kuznetsova has a good chance at making a deep run here. Let us hope she does well. It was good to see Cristea win too. A huge win for Bouchard, who shows promise again, she should be primed to take down Jankovic. Good to see Cibulkova back to winning ways, I really wonder, what would she do, if she plays consistently well. Ivanovic also won.
