Actually, the distinction of continents is fluid and there are between 4 and 7, depending esp. on convention of where you are educated.

Think again. And precisely she couldn't which is why she underwent a breast reduction 3 years ago. That is her and those were hers

Simona cant increase her ranking in this event. Not enough points to close the gap from kerber in 9th place even if Simo wins the event.
Its just a good practice for her to check her current level of play and improve on that.
There are also Maria, Kvitova, Kerber, and others. Its not a bad event, quite good.

I hope Simo wont lose the r1 now. You never know in women tennis...

No excuses for Simona. I could use the surface as excuse but Simona is not playing at the level of last year, not yet.
Kristina really likes to play on this rubber surface. She wont beat Simo on other surfaces.
Good preparation for Simona now with her new coach before Doha
No ranking points lost, its not the end of the world.

I would be more worried about her first round match against Kristina, she just won a grand slam title in mixed doubles, she is confident.

Then in the second round, Petko could be there instead of Bojana. Even more dangerous...
Overall, Simona has a tough draw here.

Good predictions Kiu. I had no clue about this surface and how much it fits Kristina and her hard hitting.
I guess that this surface helped Petka too. Its a hard rubber surface that bounces the ball more than in Moscow indoors where Simona won the event.

She is ""puppies free" for 4 years but she became a good player only in the last 7 months.

I hope Halep comes back asap from her last months holiday and starts to put her heart back in the game.
If the indoor surface in the Budapest fed cup is also a high bouncing rubber, then Simona will also lose to Babos. The hitting power will do the trick.

But I like Kristina, she is a premier doubles player(as you stated), and she is cute as a button!

The other top seeds play tomorrow, Angie and Masha get a day off and then off to the quarter Finals we go.
