What a cheap shot. I'm neither sad nor insecure. Let me ask you, then, how old are you? Are you willing to disclose? Though it's kind of an irrelevant question amongst informed posters. I don't think the 1980 match was more anticipated than the 2008 one. There was a lot of "all chips on the table" about both of those matches. Don't get me wrong: if we're going to say the 2 best matches in men's tennis in the Open Era, these are the 2. I was a Borg fan in the first one and a Nadal fan in the second. Imho, the 2008 was more thrilling. And that's saying something. You got offended by my question. What a sad, insecure individual you are.
I’m old enough to remember that the 1980 match was more anticipated than the 2008. It tells a lot how the rivalries have been perceived by public.

Maybe you're insecure to answer the question?
As to the rest, it's a lot of palaver. Nelson Mandela listened to tennis on Robbin Island and Ingrid Betancourt listened to Nadal at the French Open in her own captivity. It's very lovely that tennis on the radio was able to give them some comfort, but I don't think that tells us anything about tennis, only about how one keeps themselves sane in captivity.
My point about age is that it is not relevant, but, since you brought it up, I think you should answer the question before requiring it of another. I've never made it a relevancy for anyone. If you want it to matter, it's on you.
Don't tell me what offends me.
And don't pretend what got Mandela though his difficult times has any bearing on tennis. You're using a man's suffering to sell an argument on a tennis board which is a bit cheesy.
In the end, I surely don't care how old you are. The longer this goes on, the younger I'm sure you are. Fine.
My real question is how much are you really willing to trade on another person's suffering, just to win an argument on a tennis forum?
That seems overly simplistic. I'm American. I was a Borg fan and am a Rafa fan. They were both thrilling matches, but I think the 2008 was the better one. Only by a bit. But yes, even more exciting.I think 1980 vs. 2008 is easily solveable: If you're American, 1980 is the greatest. If you're European, 2008 takes the cake.
Very funny! I think you've lost track of your own argument, but probably just as well, as you were losing it.
Lol! Be careful Moxie. I just saw this, I'm guessing this was directed to Oopsi? That's the very question I asked that got him trolling meIn the end, I surely don't care how old you are. You are an idiot and everyone has easily abused or stumped you, you born shameless? Your attempt at counter argument has been simpleton one sentence response of no effect, you are not even interesting for people to beat up.I see you’re still suffering from the after-effects of my attacks upon you. Good, good.
