Oh, man. Rafa was up 5-2 in that breaker, he had 2 sets points, and the first lead Thiem gets in the TB, he takes the set. :face-with-symbols-on-mouth:
I think your boi in trouble today. Really needed to win that first set against Domi who has won the last 4 TB's on HC against Bull.

I hate this match and I can't even see it. DF in the tiebreak, he still goes up a double break at 5-2, has set points - one hour and fifteen minutes wasted. Bask to the starting gate, but you serve second this time, son.

It's an uphill slog he doesn't need if he wants to take the title, but it's not unexpected against Thiem...

Great win for Thiem, and typical Rafa, he gets carried out on his shield. Ballsy hold at 0-40, facing three set points. But great for Thiem - has he now officially qualified?

Just got home from work....Darn Rafa losing to one of my least favorite players on the tour Thiem.
I will have a double expresso before I watch the match which I recorded.

High quality match from both. Hopefully Rafa will beat Tsitsipas because they have had some close battles. But Nadal’s level on indoors hardcourt is very promising for next year’s season starting at the AO! :good:

Thiem barely beats Nadal who in his mid 30s on his worst surface  great win by Thiem but cant see him winning if can only just beat a 34 year old and out of form Tsitsipas.

Nadal's lost 5 consecutive Tiebreaks vs Thiem just in 2020, which is an abbreviated year.
It's become a mental issue at this point. Against anyone else, Nadal wins after leading 5-2 in the TB.

I usually ignore such drivel, but you're consistent at least! You pound your chest how great Nadal is, but it doesn't stop you from calling him an old man under the guise of "how hard it was to beat him in his 30's!" No one GAF but you obviously! We learned ages ago it makes no sense talking about age when the Big 3 continue to own the tour! Get off it and find another song to sing!

How soon we forget! Nadal's blown a few TB's over the yrs, most notably a 3rd setter vs Kyrgios w/ multiple MP's in Acapulco a yr or so ago!
Yes that was another one as Rafa once called his loss at another match...'An Amazing Disaster'......:)
