Gulbis goes 6-0 in all ATP finals ...

That's an impressive stat. I can't think of anyone else who has reached six or more finals, and won them all.

I don't know if there is another male, but at one time, Anna Smashnova Pistoli was 11-0 in finals - then she had to blow that tremendous record by getting to one last final at Forrest Hills and losing before she retired.

Is that her real name? What period was she playing in?

Now that you've highlighted parts of her name, there is a B-movie Bond girl quality.

That is her real name - Smashnova was her maiden name (born in Russia, played as an Israeli). Pistolesi her married name (I forgot the "es" in her name in the original post). She's since divorced, and is Smashnova again.

She only retired in 2007 - started on the tour in the early 90s. She was a B version of Arantxa. Hugged the baseline, returned everything and waited for the error from the other side.

Most of her titles (it was 12, not 11, and she was 12-0 in finals till that loss in Forrest Hills) were smaller events. Her highest career ranking was 15, and she never got past the 4th round at a Slam.

She also holds the record for most Fed cup ties played.
