Whoah...Slow down, guys. There are still three games to play (phour phor the Packers and Phalcons). Anything can happen. The NEphL has been a week-to-week league this year. I wouldn't be so phast to annoint the Seahawks and the Packers as the NEphC gods and I wouldn't be so phast to discount the Cardinals.

^ True statement. I'd be happy as a clam if the Cards win out even if that makes GB the #2 seed...but with Stanton that's not going to happen.

My opinion...

Iph the Cardinals beat the "Hands Up. Don't Shoots" (aka St. Louis Rams) on Thursday, then they win the NEphC West. Iph not, then Seattle takes it. Because of Phischer's coin phlip antics vs. The R-Words and his reliance on trick plays to win games, I don't have much respect phor the guy. That said, I still hope the St. Louis HUDS (Hands Up. Don't Shoots) beat the Cardinals.

And...I don't dislike the Packers (or Darth Phed), but I'll be pulling hard phor the Phalcons tonight.

The NFC west will probably come down to Seattle at Arizona and I expect the Seahawks to take it. So GB needs to win out still, and it is next week that scares me a bit. At Tampa and Detroit at home should be wins, total debacle if they lose either of those.

Julio Jones blew a 3rd quarter TD catch by not even ATTEMPTING to get his second phoot down. Guess he made up phor it, though, with an early 4th quarter TD catch. Can the Phalcons get a quick stop? Doubt it, but you never know.

Rodgers to Nelson to make it 40-24. And that, my phriends, is why the Packers are 10-3 and the Phalcons are 5-8.
The sad thing is, is that the Phalcons are still in phirst place in the NEphC South.

Being from Chicago I still have to be impressed by Rodgers! Too bad he has an a-hole for a coach who ran up the score in the last moments against us a couple weeks ago! :nono :puzzled :dodgy: :cover

The Phalcons sure are wasting a lot of time. What's with all of the running plays. There's no time phor that crap.

They rarely work anyway; even if executed well! You need the receivers to have brain damage; instead of just to fall on the ball they are trying to pick it up! :nono  :dodgy:

Zero defense tonight from the secondary. That 2nd half meltdown was 100% on the secondary, GB was getting enough pressure, stopped the run pretty well, mixed it up well but the Packers decided to play ghost coverage on Jones as in you couldn't see a Packer defender within 10 yards of him. Sometimes a defense plays bad because they are dominated up front, today was just the secondary taking the night off.

GB will take the win and I hope that's a wake up call for the defense, particularly the secondary. Here's where I wish McNugget wasn't such a player's coach, if there's ever the time to call out your players in the locker room, lay into them, this is it. Give it to Shields, Williams, Hyde, Hayward, etc. They were all worthless.

And the other good news is that aside from Megatron they likely won't see another receiver as good as Julio Jones again this year.

49er's are done for the year after that one. It's unreal to lose any game to Oakland let alone a must win. Now the question is whether they will be trading Harbaugh at year end, I think there will be a ton of interest.

Seattle is looking like their old selves. Green Bay has to win out because I don't think Seattle drops another game.

Harbaugh might end up in Oakland. Raiders are a joke at the moment, but there's some good young players like Carr and Mack, cap space and the only way is up. If Oakland don't tempt Gruden back, I'd be happy to see Harbaugh come in.

If Harbaugh plans on staying in the NFL I'm sure the 49ers will try to trade him for a couple draft picks. And then the question will be which teams fire their coach at year end. I'd imagine all of them would be interested in Harbaugh.

To add to this: There is talk that Harbaugh will coach his alma mater, University of Michigan. If Harbaugh elects to stay in the NFL he will be heavily pursued by all teams with a coaching vacancy. Teams I think will definitely be searching at year end:

1. Oakland
2. Chicago
3. New York Jets

Then many possibilities including Tennessee, Jacksonville, Atlanta (if they miss the playoffs).

DarthFed went 13-3
AP went 13-3 (seemed to follow my good advice this week :) )
KS went 10-6
Billie went 10-6
Fiero went 9-7
Haychew went 4-12 (You almost have to try to miss this many games...that or you flip a coin like you did and get really unlucky lol)

Standings through Week 14

DarthFed is 139-68
AP is 134-73
KS is 134-73
Billie is 126-81
Fiero is 37-21
Haychew is 32-29

I went back and noticed I started Billie at 24-24, since there are some that joined late I think it is best to just eliminate the starting amount I handed out. So Billie is 102-57 in actual picks and we will use that going forward.

Nehmeth hasn't picked lately and I started him at 26-22 and also gave him a 7-6 week when he first stopped picking. So his actual picks right now is 47-25
