Interesting. Rome is the only option, if they want to play together on clay, right?

A great win today by Rafa against De Minaur (7-6, 6-3)… This was a huge match because Rafa couldn’t afford to lose to the same player two weeks in a row on clay… Also, I thought his level was very good with some amazing points! Keep it going Rafa! :dance2::clap:

Since we're in Madrid, I thought I'd put up a classic Nadal v. Djokovic match from 2009. At the time, I believe it became the longest 3-setter ever played. (Surpassed, I think, by Federer d. Del Potro at the Olympics in London 2012.) Enjoy!

No, Sis @Moxie Moxie this was the greatest 3 setter match ever because the defense was astounding really Astonishing is the correct way to view it. The rallies was insane, I recall both players covering so much area that the television camera couldn't keep up..just my opinion

Thanks for posting @Moxie

Rafa happy with the win over Cachin in a 3 hours, says he still feels up and down
It was a special win once again.I didn't play well in the second set.Lets see how I wake up tomorrow
Rafa will play Lehecka in his next match, Rafa played Leheckka in a practice match last week, Lehechka beat him 63 64
It will be Lehecka and Rafa's first meeting

Hopefully, he will have a lot of energy left for the next match. I didn’t know about that practice match so it means that the next opponent can be very difficult. That being said it was a great fight today and I’m so glad that Rafa won. It’s clear that those wins are giving him more and more confidence… Let’s hope for the best.

Lehecka is an inform player, still that was a practice match, last week, this will be their first meeting on the tour.
BTW just found out that Rafa will play his match in the last night match tomorrow, that will give him more time to recover
Rafa also said he prefers to play indoors at Madrid then out doors? I wonder why with the high altitiude :)

If Rafa's road ends this round, in Madrid, I'm fine. It's all about gearing up for RG. Play enough, but not too much. Rome is a better surface for the test.

I am also fine with it, btw I looked at the doubles entries for Rome, Rafa has not entered as yet, if he wants to play doubles with Alcaraz before Olympics
