Sabalenka has to make it back to the finals to maintain her #2 world ranking. Otherwise, Coco moves up to #2.

That match against Andreeva isn't going to be easy.

Coco had a chance to get to no 2 yesterday if Collins won
I expect Saba will raise her game, this court suits and she has won this tournament twice
Saba has a H2H 1-0 against the Teen Queen, as I said yesterday Saba can hit anyone off the court, on any surface, she just has to remain focus, watch her margins
Lets face it, Coco is in a 'mini slump' she is not playing to her ranking of No 3 in the world, her Serve is poor and her fhand again is under threat

The level of tennis on Rybakina Putintseva match .
Elena was lucky to survive, talk about doing a 'houdini act' Putintseva held a H2H 2-0 over Elena, she really mixed up her shots and Elena could not handle it most of the time.
Elena does get her first win over Putinstseva 47 76(4) 75

Saba was given too many lifelines in this tourney. You knew she was going to come out today focused and ready to go. Plus there's the added incentive of creating more distance between her and Coco for #2. You said it yourself MM, that she would play better today and so far she has.

Swiatek 61 1st set over Keys,
Set was a bit closer than the score shows, Iga is playing very well.

Iga is moving Maddy around the court, also not getting into Maddy's strike zone, Iga first serve is very good,Madison making too many ufe
, though to be expected in ways, Madison plays more first strike tennis, if she dosent watch her margins, ufe will happen

Madison had a BP on Iga's serve, her return long, you have to watch your shots on return especially with the high altitude, on another clay surface Madison's return of serve would have won her the point
