I didn't see that demanding I'm not taking no for answer attitude today from the Angel. He almost seemed accepting of his loss. I guess I expected he would take control of the decider when he broke, but he didn't

I suggest to Rune stay off twitter, in your matches, you twitted in a break " Zero class- Disgusting - Distrespectful" of the fans in Madrid, which was your doing by the way, as umpire Bernades pointed out to you, staying in the moment in matches is far more important than going on Twitter in a match

TBH, I didn't think Foki would pull it off, but good for him.
Agree Moxie, I think the crowd was helpful as well, a win in front of his home crowd, speaks volumes for Foki and his confidence going forward in Madrid

Has Taylor Fritz got a 'hot date' or something leading Garin 5-0 in 13 minutes lol!
Fritz slowed down won the 1st set 61 in 21 minutes:)
Great stat from Fritz in that 1st set No UFE
Fritz took his eyes off the prize serving for the match at 5-4 lost 4 points, then DF when down BP, 5 all 2nd set
Garin just held serve and now Fritz will serve to force a TB for the 2nd set
TB for the 2nd set
Taylor Fritz prevails in the 2nd set, though this was a match of 2 sets he cant afford to lose focus while serving for a match against higher ranked players, also his BP conversion rate in the 2nd set 1/9?
Fritz d Garin 61 76(4)
Reaches the last 16 in Madrid for the first time, well done Fritz, will play either Norrie or Zhang

The Young Greek needs to focus, down 1-4 in the 2nd set to Baez, he also played poorly in the 1st set, which he was lucky to win 7-5

The Candidate for the Tournament aka The Young Greek has now lost the 2nd set to Baez 63, he is very flat today, going 3 sets,
The Young Greek wins in 3 sets 57 36 63, though he struggled, especially at times on his serve, also I wish his dad would stay away from tournaments in awhile lol!

Meddy acting childish again, refuses to play, sits in chair and comes back to play after pep talk from Bernardes.

Okay, so Medvedev is pissed off he has to play on a court which is 2nd in size. He, the 2nd seed and 3rd player in the world! How dare they to put him here in this dump! :lulz1:

Karatsev is serving for the match at 5-4. Unless Meddy pulls his head out of his arse quick, no more Tapas for him. :nono:

Karatsev is warming up his engines again, couldn't beat anyone for a whole season until now, he passed the qualies too, 6 wins in a row for a russian with the biggest calves on the tour.

It sucks a bit when they show less important matches. I don't have these problems anymore, it's tennis on several channels at the same time, so I just pick a match, practically impossible to miss any action on Masters and 500. On grand slams I'll have Eurosport and "only" 2 channels with all the action.

I just learned that Aslan means lion in Russian. I guess Medvedev was too scared to face this lion today.
