We watched them beat Kubot/Roger-Vasselin the other day after it looked like they'd go down, and Marc Lopez was great. I didn't realize he's retiring, but I do know he has joined Rafa's team.
Yeah, I knew he’d joined Rafa’s team, but hadn’t noticed he’s playing doubles with Carlos/Carlito/Charles/Charlie.

Evans/RBA have been playing for over 2.5 hours. RBA serving at 5-6 in the third. I wish the Tennis Channel would switch over, instead of showing Cilic/Zverev.

EDIT: Evans wins 6-3, 5-7, 7-6(2) after two minutes shy of three hours.

Ruud lost to Lajovic, so he’s continuing his losing ways. Is this a mental thing after losing the Miami final?
He hasnt been the same player since losing in Miami., I thought when the clay season came around he would turn things around, actually he has got worse, on his favorite surface of all things.

Again, I think we're looking at past players, esp. the results of the Big 3, thinking that the trajectory has to always be "up!" It's just not the case anymore! There are tons of other hungrier players out there! You can't take the foot off the gas. The so called best can look the worst overnight it seems! :face-with-hand-over-mouth:  :face-with-tears-of-joy::shushing-face:

Do you mean with the DF?
I just meant that Zed was up the break, and it was a bit of a serve-fest, so I thought Zverev would cruise on that break.

Checking the scoreboard, I see Dimitrov is up 6-0, 3-1 against Schwartzman. Surprising. Anyone know if something is wrong with Diego?

I think he rarely does well at Madrid due to the altitude.

Seb Korda also has lost his mojo, down a set and a break to Musetti, the loss to Tiafoe apparently has carried over and he has also lost confidence.

Confirmed! Having a nice run in matches & tournaments mean nothing! Someone like Seb,, Tiafoe, & Sinner c/b on top of it, then lose it overnite!
Seb had a MTO and went off court ....has broken back in the 2nd set, there is still some hope
