Er, no thanks. He's not my type. I play for Team A, not Team B. Cheers for the offer though, I think :s

Ya still noticed though! :snigger :laydownlaughing :lolz:

:puzzled Um... one would have to be blind not to notice.

Or too polite.

Well we know that virtue is becoming about as rare as hen's teeth! :snigger :laydownlaughing

Still…I'll hold onto it myself, if you don't mind. :laydownlaughing

Rafa fans stayed around to post during both matches today. Also stayed around after the AO, discussing for days, even though there was rather a lot of bile directed at Rafa for days. You posted directly to some of us when you came on to gloat after Miami. If you came around more, you'd remember that folks here don't going in for fire-bombing posts with untruths, no matter their allegiances to players. Please behave…thank you.

Why would I lie about something that can be easily checked and make myself look like a liar? I remembered it totally wrongly obviously and I appologised for that. I am aware that i will have to appologise for the same thing each time I login.

Though i must say it is tiring to hear the same sort of things each time I come here and I don't even get to talk about tennis because I get forced to talk about other things. I asked last time directly if I am not welcome here and i was told I was, but today again I got the same sort of 'welcome'. So consequently I don't think I would like to come back again.

Basically missing all the tennis this week, hope it's been good for everyone. Quite a shocker that Nadal is being lackluster and lost to Ferrer of all people.

Ferrer is the 4th best clay courter of this generation. So please, no more "of all people"

Each time I post I either gloat or troll according to some people, even when I don't intend to, so I don't think they would stand even my logon showing up let alone my posts.

I'm not buying this put-upon act from you. After Miami, and we teased you about showing up only when Novak wins, I said my apologies and tried to engage you in an actual tennis conversation. You never responded. And you never engaged with anyone about the tennis.

Yes, you apologized for being completely wrong about Rafa fans. That was good. You will not have to keep apologizing for the same thing if you refrain from doing it again. You don't need to talk about any of this if you would actually talk about tennis. Starting now would be good. I have reminded you that we try to keep a decent discourse here, and showing up with preconceived notions from other trashy boards and applying them here doesn't really fit.

New start, Mastoor…now it's up to you.

Good for you, herios. I woke up this morning trying to be confident, but knowing that Ferrer could be a threat. I know he's not seen as a threat in finals against the big four, plus a couple more, but he is always a threat to ruin your day. He is so unfairly under appreciated. There is a reason he's been in the top 3-6 for the last 3+ years. People always give Berdych more of a chance, but who's out and who's still in?

:violins::violins::violins:

You come on the boards to gloat and make snide comments, what do you expect the response to be??? Maybe if you posted about tennis instead of all the other inane, inconsiderate and irresponsible crap you pedal, things would be different.

Snide? I say many things in jest but I would not think of them as snide especially I wouldn't think that i come here just to make such comments. Gloat? I am not allowed to show that i am happy when my favourite player wins?

I saw your PM and responded to it, but go off in a snit if you must. Why is it that I don't think this is the last we'll see of you? In any case, good luck debating with the teenagers, drunks and half-wits at the other sites you surf. If you start longing for better debate, we'll be here, but you'll have to be up for it. No trolling, and no unsubstantiated abuse.

Ferrer is doing all he can do. He's fighting and pushing Nadal as best he can. Rafa is a tad off and here we are. It has to do with the Valencian's play as much as Rafa not being able to get by with ordinary play.

I respectfully disagree. Nadal is more than a tad off and Ferrer hasn't done anything special. Certainly not anything he hasn't done in his previous encounters with Nadal.

Not seeing the match, but reading commentaries from other threads, I concluded that today, Ferrer had directed more than he usually does the majority of his FH to Rafa's BH, not allowing him to dictate with his FH.
Usually, the pattern of the play when they play on clay is Rafa gets to neutral rally, then starts pushing back David with his FH, then drives the error from David or scores a winner.

I found a longer video with highlights (12 minutes and come), which confirms what I read:

I've seen too many utterly uncompetitive Nadal Ferrer matches my friend. Not talking about ferrets abilities on clay, just his abilities on clay against Nadal. I would say a similar thing of federer.

Hey Mastoor, stick around! There are plenty of us who enjoy your posts, don't be annoyed with those that don't. We might be heading into a very good and interesting clay season

Yeah Mastoor, hang around. You have to able to take it if you're so fond of dishing it out. Do more research before you post, maybe. A lot more. ;)

But nobody is annoyed to see you post, and you have as much right here as the next person...

How was Nole's wrist? Strapped?

Wrist seems almost fine, but I wonder what kind of injuries did Ralph had today considering that he lost to his pigeon. I don't think he lost when healthy. :)

His neighbor's dog died, and Rafa always referred to that dog as "my second son" (even though he doesn't have a first son), so he was emotionally scarred. I heard that has a history of screwing up people's clay seasons. That, and old players on PED's.

Glad to hear about the wrist. As for Rafa, you're wrong, he loses sometimes when he's fit. You need to be careful how you post - you make excuses every time Nole loses, and now you're starting to make them for Rafa, too?

:laydownlaughing I didn't hear any from you this time (which is strange), so I thought I may make one for you.

You never heard one from me, period. I think you made that excuse out of reflex, it's your default setting. I mean, remind me how Nole lost on clay the last couple seasons...

Now I remember, you are actually chicken to comment when Rafa loses, so you think other fans do the same when their guys lose. Remind me - what was your or any other Rafa fan's comment in this forum for that matter after Monte Carlo loss last year? Not a single one! What is your or any other Rafa fan's comment in this forum for that matter after Monte Carlo loss this year? I don't see (m)any.

Sigh...

Lame and bad taste to make jokes over people who died.
