If he doesn't want to sound arrogant, he should think a little harder before he opens his mouth. He was playing some very fine tennis before the injury, but he was very likely about to go down 2 sets to love v. Nadal in that SF. Sure, he was in a SF, so was still in it with a shot, before the injury, but, for a guy who dropped a calf at his only previous Major final appearance, he might have considered for a moment that he was also still pretty far away. Just because you put the caveat, "I don't want to sound arrogant, but..." before a sentence, it doesn't excuse the gall. Let him win a Major, at least, before he puts that much swagger in it.
