This is a good question. I think if you take what tented wrote about Schwartzman getting too predictable, (and I'd say passive), and combine it with it helping Stefanos to swing freely, and stop missing at all there for a while. Tsitsipas IS the better player, and Diego made the mistake of giving him the chance to regain some composure and belief.

In a day of dramatic matches, this was the craziest. The Greek would have had to slink away in shame if he'd lost, but Diego is going to have a rough night now, too.
