Likewise. Not a fan of the I'm a hard man stupid walk of Tsitsipas in between points. Just seems like a self righteous prick to me. He's playing well though, I'll give him that.I'm pulling for the Russian..
He is a prick, not just between points. But playing damn good right now.Likewise. Not a fan of the I'm a hard man stupid walk of Tsitsipas in between points. Just seems like a self righteous prick to me. He's playing well though, I'll give him that.
But you love Roger and he's pretty arrogant. I would have thought his style of play would appeal to a Fed fan.Likewise. Not a fan of the I'm a hard man stupid walk of Tsitsipas in between points. Just seems like a self righteous prick to me. He's playing well though, I'll give him that.
He's been playing really well all week.He is a prick, not just between points. But playing damn good right now.
Yes, he is the third name to add, being a potential threat to Nadal in Paris. He's been playing really well all week.
He doesn't walk with a stoic nose in the air gatch though and let's be honest here, you're more entitled to be arrogant having won as much as Federer or Nadal who is likewise arrogant so it's not that that's the issue for me. For the record, Nadal walks with the I'm a hard man gatch between points too but at least he's a bit more tough looking than the gangly ShittyPants. Play wise I don't mind Tsitsipas who hits some nice shots alright but I just don't like him. I'm more of a fan of Rublev even though his grunting annoys me. See nothing to root for in Tsitsipas. Just comes across as unlikable to me.But you love Roger and he's pretty arrogant. I would have thought his style of play would appeal to a Fed fan.
Oh, I thought he was on the list. Tsitsipas did beat Rafa in Madrid a couple of years ago. I like him (I get that he's unpopular around here) but I almost think he's more dangerous for Rafa, esp. if he gets the confidence of winning here.Yes, he is the third name to add, being a potential threat to Nadal in Paris.
I guess it's just personal. Margaret can't stand Thiem. I just don't see it, but I have others I don't like for really no good reason. And Federer has been arrogant for a really long time. He's actually much less so, now. To me, it was irritating. To his fans, it's "justified self-regard." Nadal is every bit as arrogant as Federer so I don't get that at all how that could irritate you as a Nadal fan. I don't like Thiem's constant hands in the air whinging to himself and his box. Reminds of Murray who I can't stand for the same reason. Thiem's ground game is good to watch though when he's playing well and hitting seven shades of shit out of the ball but sems like his only plan is if he's not winning, hit the ball even harder and it's very difficult to do that all match and win as his results show. Very similar game style to Wawrinka and similarly great backhand. Both hit very hard off both wings.I guess it's just personal. Margaret can't stand Thiem. Yes, I know you folks like to claim that Rafa is "fake-humble." Fine, that's the way it looks to you. Everyone has things that irritate them about players. To me, there have been a few bits of bad behavior, but mostly I like Stefanos.Nadal is every bit as arrogant as Federer so I don't get that at all how that could irritate you as a Nadal fan. I'm not talking as much about post match interviews but, yes, that's definitely true there too re comments to the media. None of it comes across as genuine a lot of the time but all the top players are boring af and pc in post match speeches as Gulbis and Kyrgios have pointed out with Djokovic being the most robotic sounding as if he's reading from a clipboard. I'm talking more about the hard man walk in between points in general that Nadal has similar to Tsitsipas. Neither are 300lb bodybuilders so it just looks dumb to me Guys in the gym who aren't even big do it and I just laugh at it 'cos it's dumb. But they all do something that annoys other people and that's just human nature.Yes, I know you folks like to claim that Rafa is "fake-humble." Fine, that's the way it looks to you.
