So I ended up buying tickets for Sunday night (cheaper).........no Rafa for me since he plays Saturday but I should get to see Roger (hopefully he plays night match) which it's awesome given his high level of tennis and desire. The irony for me always has been that although I love to watch Rafa like no other....it is Roger the one that inspire my game and try to emulate so it's a win for me anyways.

Here's today's schedule, Shawn. I don't think tomorrow's will be available until tonight. You thinking of going?

Del Potro's late pull out again this week was again unfair on the player's like in Indian Wells. If he knows he's not gonna play he shouldn't wait till the very end 'cos he messed up the draw two weeks in a row now. Not winning many friends in the locker room. Get surgery Del Potro and stop being a tool and fooling yourself and it's also fairer on the other players when you knew already you had zero intention of playing here.

I wouldn't blame del potro..he really thought or he conned himself into thinking he was going to be ok to play,

ongoing injury and pain really start clouding your judgement in terms of what you think you can do, also it messes with the head and spills out into other areas because the focus is on the injury and its easy to lose focus on the bigger picture because every thought is dominated by "can I do this, am I ok for that, should I try this, what what what HELP"

but it looks like surgery it the only option.

Must watch some tennis actually. Haven't watched any of Miami yet. Mostly 'cos the big names aren't playing yet.

Hewitt - Haase is the one I'm going to watch and probably Serena Williams match later as she hasn't played in ages.

Anybody watching Tomic? Looks like he just ate a bagel courtesy of Nieminen.

I didn't see it, but I noticed the score a few minutes ago. Is Tomic injured? For his sake, I hope so, because as one of the supposed promising young guns, a 6-0, 6-1 loss to a 32-year-old Nieminen is embarrassing.

And, yes, I know it's not clay, but I still think Delbonis should have beaten Ryan "Racquet Smashing" Harrison.

Harrison has a good serve though. Didn't watch it so can't comment on how either played though.

Ivo-Roger match up should not worry me but it does for some reason...I mean all it takes is a bad tie-break and you go home. I hope Roger breaks Ivo's serve and does not need Tbs.

By the way, I would be very interested to learn Ivo's break point conversion rate. Seems like I never see him break anyone. He either gets broken, or wins in TBs.

A lot of very sloppy errors by Hewitt. Haase is a good player too. Surprised he haasen't ( :p ) had better results.

I looked up the stats. Harrison's first serve was 54%, while Delbonis' was 66%.

Precisely how he lost to him in '08 in Cincinnati -- 7-6(6), 4-6, 7-6(5)

Great question. The answer: 30%

Good win for Harrison in that case. Poor serving stats for Dirty Harry. Anyone ever called him that before? :D
