Hopefully you saw that shot that Nadal ripped down the line, then.

Crazy how so many of Nadal's shots look like they're going wide till the very last millisecond and then bam, they spin in.

It's even harder to believe when you see them live. They don't just dip, they turn 45 degrees.

I saw him live only at the WTF against Fish a few years ago and it was a great match but that's the worst surface to see his spin but still, even though I got to see Fed v Tsonga also, I far preferred Nadal v Fish. Much better match. So sad about Fish's health issues 'cos he was absolutely blasting forehands that day.

Must have been the day, because that surprises me, give your preferences, and Tsonga's ability to entertain. It is sad that Fish had to quit before time, tough.

Nadal's hitting that FH DTL as well as I've ever seen him hit it this week.

Great win Rafa…what is the injury they're saying that Fognini is carrying? And why is the crowd so rude towards Fognini?

They played again in the final which was a better match but the first one wasn't great. While Fish hasn't officially retired he probably has unless by some miracle he plays the US hardcourt series and the USO and retires later this year. Imagine he's gone for good now though.

Was wondering what his supposed injury was too. Just his ego I'd say. Rude crowd though.

Commentators saying that he didn't put in the effort, but I didn't really see that. He was mostly out-played. The crowd was against him for some while now, and I'm not clear why. Too many mojitos in?
