Logging in to vent about that idiot who umpped the Berdych vs Tiafoe match. He issued an incorrect call on break point then kept the players out there until 2:00 in the morning. What a moron! The ATP should get rid of him.
Can you elaborate the detail of an "idiot"'s decision and whom he disadvantaged?
Do you know the name of the "idiot" ? Umps are known for their mistakes/silly judgements only (the good umps are those 'invisible' at the match), I'm curious if it's the 'famous' one or a new, inexperienced guy.
Yesterday I went to sleep after the match was suspended, but this morning I wake up to find out Tiafoe is still playing but not against Berdych anymore but against Anderson in the 4th! How could it be? Where is the break between matches? Is Tiafoe supposed to be non-stop on court back to back, day after night? I would also call the scheduling guys "idiots". Eventually, ATP website says his result against Berdych was 7-6(1) in the third, but not a word how it happened. Could be there was no one to even report it or perhaps idiots are too ashamed to admit the matches are dragging out of their control.

I was very surprised when I saw the result between Verdasco-Pablo, I've never expected to see those numbers, or Pablo has played very good or Verdasco very bad.
And Coric looks is playing better and better. By the way I'd like to see who is going to play on Thursday, evening, I got free tickets but I haven't any idea who will play

I'll let @10isfan respond as to his gripe with the ump. Personally, I didn't think he was that bad, and I kind of understand why he kept them out there. It was always going to be a late night, as a lot of matches went long. And they were SO close to finishing, but the weather didn't cooperate. I'm sure the preference is always to finish.

As to today, Tiafoe/Berdych was played out 2 matches ago, but it was a quick finish. So now Frances is playing his next round match. I don't think he should be tired. The finish was more like a warm-up. And I think it was correct to keep them close together, or he'd be hanging around getting cold, etc.

I didn't see it, but I heard that Verdasco may have had a physical issue. Nice you have tickets! I hope you get some good matches.

Tiafoe out, but a big step up for him, I think.

Don't understand your comment. According to live scores site, Tiafoe won the match.
He played twice today. He beat Berdych, in the continuation of his match from last night, but lost to Anderson, subsequently, in the next round match, also played today. It's a bit confusing.

Here is a lesson for young guys: Dont fucking get cocky. Yesterday, Shapo , after winning his match, looked at his box and screamed " Ice in my veins!" twice. Today, he double faulted 3 times in the game to stay in the match, and he lost ! Where was the fucking ice???

Stop with the bullshit, play the game the right way, practice hard, don't gloat.

Shapo is young. I don't mind his cockiness. He's got a lot of game, and he's 19, ffs. I think he'll get there, and prove his bravado. Remember that Djokovic took a lot of shit for being cocksure at 19-21. He made good on it.

Nice you got some free tickets...how much do they charge now for a bottle of water $8 or $10...the prices for the food and beverages their or horrible...but I do enjoy the stadiums there..

Hi..thanks for the update on Rafa May play DC...my thoughts are he won’t maintain number 1 long...he has almost 4700 points to defend...that’s gonna give Darth and his tribes of Federettes ample times to stick needles into their Rafa vodoo dolls.::sw1:::lightning::shitstorm:

Cilic sucked the whole, match I thinking he was going to win it, del potro should get the job done.
Isner is getting upper hand with his H2H against Cilic. With no previous luck, and that heartbreaking five set loss in Wimby 2015 (12-10), Isner has beaten Cilic 3 out of four tries since.

Shapo is the age Rafa was when he was having his big breakthrough and taking the 2005 clay season by storm. He's also the age Roger was around Wimbledon 2000 when he lost to Yevgeny Kafelnikov in the 1st round.

Random factoid: The 2000 Wimbledon was the last time Christian Ruud, Casper's father, played in a Slam. He never made it past the 1R of Wimby; his best Slam result was the 4R at the 1997 Australian Open, which he lost to Goran Ivanisevic in five sets, and his highest ranking was #39. No titles, but 12 Challenger titles.

Yep, Rafa has too many points to defense and after to come back of his injury we don´t know how he will play. I don´t care too much about the #1 but about his health, if he feels good he can do well even if he would lose one or two tournaments, it wouldn't be a tragedy .
And about the DC he is going with the team but still nobody knows if he will play singles or doubles or only cheering the team

3 out of the 8 quarterfinals remaining in the event are frontrunners this season, in the top 5 in this year's race: Delpo, Chung and Anderson.
They showed more consistency in the first 3 months than the rest.
Also still in Zverev, who was not playing well recently, but could rebound. He will have to get past his QF to prove that he is back.
Coric is having a nice breakout, he will be finally a top 30 player, after coasting for 3 years in the 40-60 range.
It will be intruiging to see who will lift this trophy.
