Looks as if Nick's new GF's keeping him calm & focused! He's been good for a while and just barely lost to Nadal last week! His game is there! :fearful-face:

Indeed Kyrgios is back! :cheerleader:

Never lost a set. To be continued... :face-with-hand-over-mouth: :bye:

Just when you think FAA is playing some amazing tennis and coming into his own by almost beating Medvedev in the AO quarters and then winning a title and reaching the final in the next one, he loses in his first matches in Indian Wells and Miami. :negative:

FAA needs to get on that practice court, his serve let him down big time in that match

Good news is Tommy Paul won his match....hopefully he can play his bestie Zverev later :)

We're looking for consistency that isn't possible! Some of us are totally spoiled by the excellence of Fedalovic that we keep thinking all players should be that resilient to only improve and stay "up there!" It just isn't going to happen again in our lifetime! Today's players will win one week, then lose early the next! We might as well get used to it; esp. w/ how they're brk'n down by overplaying, travel, & endorsements hanging over their heads!

Seb Korda saved a MP to win the 2nd and bring the decider. Breaks early in the 3rd. Go, Sebbie!

Fantastic 3rd set from Korda! His game is really coming along nicely.

Sidebar w/re to sports expressions: Mark Petchey said this earlier in the match, I think in reference to a shot by Ramos-Viñolas..."That was as cool as the underside of the pillow." I never heard that one before, and I thought it was excellent.

Dearly departed and very much missed ESPN commie Stuart Scott used to say it all the time. It's probably an homage to him.

Some real "hotties" playing at the same time; Shapo, Wolf, & Brooksby! Maybe I'm just getting old & any young piece of meat is attractive! :face-with-hand-over-mouth: :face-with-tears-of-joy:
You have no more taste in men than you have in tennis styles. Good thing you have me on "ignore."

Don't really know who Wolf is, but he's holding his own against Tsitsipas, at least for now.

JJ Wolf with an impressive 2nd set tiebreaker, 8-6. Let's see if the young American can keep the momentum in the 3rd set.

I just realized this but FAA won 8 in a row winning his 1st title in Rotterdam and reaching the final of Marseille losing to Rublev. Including the loss against Rublev, FAA has lost three matches in a row. I am hoping he is able to turn this around.

How many times do I have to say it? Any of these players have a good run, it very often w/b followed by an injury or inconsistent results! :fearful-face: :astonished-face:
