I was very impressed with Shapo. He seems to have matured since I last watched him (sometime last year, can't remember). He's got a big game.

Sorry to see Ferrer go, but glad for Tiafoe.

Kyrgios has also matured in recent years. What would have resulted from a similar incident involving a spectator against young Kyrgios few years back? Young Kyrgios would have used an audible obscenity, would have received a code violation for that, then would have started arguing with umpire blaming the umpire for the injustice, received another violation, lost his focus and not only lost the match but would have been given a hefty fine, perhaps a temporary suspension. None of that happened today. Instead, a clean win. A win in his own way that not everyone likes, but on the spotlight that he likes. Good work, Nick!
Thanks to Heaven that he “has matured”....can you imagine if he doesn’t? come on, he is acting worse and worse and I don’t think he is going to change, he likes too much the attention, he doesn’t respect to anyone but sonner or later he will met his match giving him his own medicine :spank2:

Even though Medvedev is currently in form, he has never played Fed before. So, hopefully he will be mesmerized and mistake the person across the net to be TMF and thus lose.

Medvedev can definitely take it up to Federer and beat him if his little off, I still back Federer to win but definitely going to watch that should be a good match.

They played in Shanghai and Basel last year.

Watched a full set of Medvedev's match yesterday on the gym's TV... not impressed. No wonder his results sank in the last month.I guess this young guys are parting too heavily just after winning tournaments (see what happened to Kachanov as well). If he does not seriously improves overnight, he scores just a handful of games against an OK Federer. Anyway, I think that other matches today will be more fun that this one.

N.Basilashvili really needs to learn how control his great power, that he has go for 80% shots, not 100% percent shots every point But super talented and fun to watch. Hope he goes deep in slams this season

Not sure if Basilashvilli can be described as super-talented.
