Just following the score he somehow managed to lose 4 games in a row at the end of the 1st set and into the 2nd. Getting broken twice in a row by Isner is hard to fathom.

Very disappointing to see Nishikori go down so easily today. I didn't get to watch the match but I was quite surprised to see that he let Isner break him. Isner may be American but I don't care for him in the slightest because while I don't mind big servers, I see John as little else besides his serve. I just think he's terrible. Anyways, disappointed to see Nishikori fail to defend his semifinal points here. Was mostly hoping to see him play Djokovic again. Too bad.

Just woke and saw the score. Wow. John Isner, aka THE BIG BAZOOKA, destroys the three young pop guns in succession. Good for him.

Disappointed in Nishikori. Please don't let his career end without a Grand Slam. That ridiculous 2014 U.S. Open final will forever cause me to sigh every time I see the one slam wonder of wonders Cilic.

Not a fan of John Isner either, and Justin Gimelstob I like even less. Together, they've managed to add something to John's game... and he's downed three of the young guns here .

I'm thinking Nole is just now realizing that B game he was going to use tonight isn't going to cut it...he'll need his A game at least for this first set.

That game where Nole broke back at the very least took a lot out of David physically... hopefully it gutted the birthday boy.
