If anyone has a shot at taking it from Nishikori, I think it's Fritz. Baranckis is a journeyman, and so, realistically, is Querrey. Taylor has the fearlessness of youth, and he hits the cover off of the ball. And he has a great natural serve. That's the final I'd like to see, anyway.

Ditto, I'd like to see Kei and Fritz in the final.

^ I am with you two, Kei vs Fritz sounds good. Enjoyed reading all comments here as I didn't get to see anything from Memphis tournament. Maybe I will over the weekend.

Of course I would like Fritzy to win another match today, but I am already stoked and content with what he has done. He came along way and I am just happy he did as good as I was hoping for.

The kid, Fritz, has more poise than the veteran. Breaks back immediately and will serve for the match.

He needed 5 match points, but he finally took the last one and goes to his first ATP tour final. Wow! I think the commies said it was only his 3rd ATP tour event, which makes him the quickest to reach a final of all American players? At least that's what I think I heard.

Even if we concede that he was lucky with his draw, it is might impressive from a young, inexperienced guy.:good:

So happy for Fritz. If it's Nishikori on the other side tomorrow, I don't think he'll get the title, though. Great week for him.

Should be interesting to see how the youngster handles the pressure of his first ATP final. Kei is a big favourite.
