Li Na Retires!

When she wasn't an UE machine, I enjoyed watching her play. Not a surprise that she's calling it a career, but obviously a loss for the WTA in light of all the exposure Asia was getting w/ Wuhan and the tour championships.

I wish her a happy retirement and success in whatever she chooses to do. :clap

she won how many titles....less than ten...didnt like the way she berated her spouse in public,maybe she did that because she wore the financial pants in the marriage.

She won what she won and that includes 2 slam titles. I can't see her not being inducted to the HOF. You don't have to like her, it doesn't change her career accomplishments. As to the way she treated her husband, they're one of the more successful relationships on tour. I won't began to try and understand their martial relationship, but something must be right between them or they would be history.

not everyone loves Na Li :nono...remember her and Jankovic in Stuttgatt.She did JJ dirty job in that match against Serena and busy laughing with that unbearable Carlos and JJ mother....then the stuff Vee went through at that event against JJ and her family left a bitter taste in my mouth that Na li could be participant to that behavior....I dont buy into that St Na li stuff....sorry its my opinion and observation.
