Yep, very entertaining.....4-1 :snicker :cover :

You know what I mean Carol. Sometime during the match Rosol always starts complaining about something. And then Nadal retaliates by complaining about something. And Rosol has no reponse so he knocks over Nadal's immaculately placed water bottles. :laydownlaughing

Rosol is an authentic idiot :gross:

I see a pattern here. Murray fans are not fans of Rosol:laydownlaughing

The incline wasn't enough to beat Stan in Bercy but he played a good match and improved a lot, can't wait to see what will his level be in London, hope he can have some good wins there

If only, Rafa gets shafted 0-3 in RR, the incline would come to an abrupt halt and there will be a rude awakening of the fact that incline is good enough only to clear fog and not enough to share a table with big boys. Not saying, that will happen. Just describing the effect, if it happens.

We need Novak, Fed, Rafa and Samurai in a group and 0-3 could happen.

Looking these last tied matches and results in Paris (and not just from the ones who have lost) be careful just in case the incline would come to someone else with an abrupt halt and there will be a rude awakening which I wouldn't be surprised at all :D

Oh, Boy, that was steep incline! Rafa is already the winner of his group and he has not even played all his matches. :clap

p.s. Will we have a Fedal final? :dodgy:

I'm still wondering. Wawrinka was somewhere else during his match, Muzza is apparently getting for his DC by getting a haircut, so we'll how see how Nadal does against players who actually want to be there. lol

Oh boy, all these excuses. So, Rafa didn't beat them, eh? They assisted him by not wanting to be there. How bloody generous! :devil

The Incline is confirmed by these victories. No matter what happens in the semi or final, Rafa has beaten 2 of the top 4 easily, on his worst surface. It gives him ground to build on for next year. That's all we wanted from the last few months of this year...

I have to agree with Kieran. Rafa looks he best he has in a year and a half, going back to Roland Garros in 2014. We might not see 2013 Rafa again, except for maybe short spells, but if you're a Rafa fan you've got to feel good (and relieved!). If you are a fan of anyone else, there's some room to be fearful ;-).

Anyhow, I'm thinking Rafa must want this title really, really badly - perhaps more than another Slam, even - or at least similarly. This s the last jewel missing from his crown.

Nadal is definitely improved and recovering. He may be at the 3~5 level now. But I'm still not convinced he can beat Djokovic and Federer, especially on this court. And to get this "last jewel", he's probably going to have to beat Djokovic in the semifinals and then Federer in the finals. That feat, by Nadal on this surface, would be more surprising than Cilic winning the USO.

Nadal is a new man : he serves better, his forehand is back. I guess he can reach final now

The surprising bit is hilarious :lolz::lolz: Your expectation of what Cilic could do before the US open was really high.

Rafa stands a better chance in getting an invitation to spend Thanksgiving with Darth Fed. Rafa aint beating Novak on a surface that is made for Roger but is playing slow this week which is better suited for Djoker. IMO

Huh. I started reading that post and got turned around, thrown to the side and flipped over. Every time I try to read it I get confused. So you're saying Rafa doesn't stand a chance.

Rafa chances are not good to defeat Djoker in London unless he changes his strategy by playing aggressively in all phases of his game.

Yeah, that's probably his best option. Especially aggressive in the coin toss. Maybe take Novak's eye out before the match if he throws it hard enough or just walk over and bop him at the changeover.
