Okay - working with Becker, I have noticed a marked improvement in his net play, his approaches and yes the half volleys and overheads too.

I think of it as a confidence issue. That shot yesterday that he took directly out of the air dropping almost completely at a 180 angle was exemplary. Something seems to be working better in the head.

Some incredible shot making indeed. What I like as much as the execution, is the thinking behind the choices he's making. Looking less and less like Roddick as he approaches the net these days.
