The finger wag from Nadal. If that was Federer we'd never hear the end of it :p Never been a fan of Simon's style of play till today but he really played so differently than usual. Guess he knows it's the best/only way to win...being super aggressive.

There you go, let us compare finger wags - both against Djoker:

Wawrinka v Haas could be fascinating. Never seen them play each other personally as far as I recall. My sleep pattern is all messed up lately and I may not even be up by then though lol.

I had to leave early in the 2nd, and I come back to this. Well, he won, but I'm pretty sure I'll just hit "erase" on the dvr, based on this commentary. OK, Broken, now I'm not happy with the Clay Warrior, either. :cover :snigger

Gutted I didn't get to see my boy today - not even highlights. :( I don't see Melzer giving Andy too many problems. The tournament better have a birthday cake for Andy - a real one. None of that birthday flan nonsense they gave him a few years ago. A birthday needs a cake with blooming icing.

Might we finally see a Murray v Nadal match?

In a way, I hope we don't. Neither one of them is playing at their best, so it would be rather anti-climatic to have waited this long, only for it to be a dud.

Personally, I would prefer to see them play at Wimbledon. Given their respective rankings, they wouldn't meet until at least the quarterfinals, which means they would have both been playing well enough to get that far.

I honestly wouldn't mind. There is no greater test for Andy than Rafa on clay.

I think Andy will be a top 4 seed at Wimbledon. I'm hoping - if they do meet - it will be in the semis or better still the final. I'm pretty sure they'll be in the same blooming half though.

Who knows if they get each other that it won't inspire, at least a bit. May not be the best of them, but could be fun to watch. I'll still be hoping for it.

The conditions didn't help Rafa's game I'm sure of that, but at least in this case he found a way to win the Match. Which is something he hasn't always been doing as of late. I'll take the win even if it wasn't pretty :)
