For what I could get from the first set Coric deserved it no doubt.

WTF? I just tuned in and Coric up a break.

Meanwhile, Moxie must have the record for most active arguments with different posters at the same time :p
Yeah, I've been bored. :lulz2:

Amazing Coric so far. What serving, and he's not really known for that. Let's see if he stays in the zone, or comes down to Earth.

This match reminds me of why it is so amazing when players can remain on top for so long. Roger looks lack-luster out there, like he doesn't even really care or want to play, while Coric is hungry and inspired. Haven't seen Roger so limp and listless in awhile.

Roger's serve pct. low in first set. Coric, on the other hand, is thinking out there, staying calm. Mature tennis. He really is in the zone.

it feels to me he hasn't figured out what trouble Coric yet. The boy's backhand is just lethal. The question is do you try to break it down or avoid it?

One thing we know for sure, Rog doesn't like this 11am start

Too bad, so sad. He's not playing well. His serving is shite and I'm not entirely sure why he's choosing to stay back and rally when he's misfiring so much from both wings. He looks bored to be honest. Might do him some good to lose a match he shouldn't lose to someone he should beat without too much effort.

Roger serve has been disappointing for awhile. Often has these matches with a terrible first serve %. If he can't get up for a semifinal here that's a worry.definitely didn't see this coming.

I completely agree. He should just go all out aggressive and try to command the net. Make Coric pass him

If this makes him think he needs a break and eliminates any clay nonsense then I'll be happy

Personally I think Roger looks a tad bit disinterested. His serving is just pure crap. Is he even getting in 50% of first serves? And he's way too passive. Too far behind the baseline and not stepping in as he has been. Coric is playing steady and maybe Roger didn't expect that.

Need a break? Good lord. The man hasn't played in 2 weeks and has played a whopping 16 matches all year. Personally I think the problem is not playing enough and having no real rhythm. Time to throw it into another gear if he wants to play DelPo in the final. Notice I'm giving Raonic no chance in that match...

He's not a rhythm player. I don't think that's the problem at all. Motivational issues are far more of a threat in my view

ok. This bunting the ball back on the return into the middle of the court, is getting a bit irritating. Drive it man!

Besides Roger's sub-par game, it also has to be said that Corc is going after every ball, and that seems to surprise Roger.
