Really enjoyable match between Karolina and Garbine,what I liked about Garbine was she didnt go away,Karolina was to serve for the match in the 2nd set and was broken,another t/break which was close,Garbine double faulted and Karolina won the match 7-6(2) 7-6(5).Karolina will play Sveta in the semi final.

I watched the final half hour or so. Good match. i got the giste that Garbine carrying a niggling injury from the coaching timeout but couldn't really see much evidence of that on court.

Who knew we would have a all Russian Final.Vesnina has had a great week so far making the final,defeating Kerber,Venus and Kiki.Sveta was in 'Vintage Form' against Pliskova.
