When is the draw coming out?

I thought Raonic is too injured to play IW.

Djoke is psychologically all messed up. He gave a brusque post match interview. If he really didn't care, he would have reacted differently to his loss to Krygios. Unless he embraces tennis and family life, he will stop being a serious contender for titles.

Raonic withdrew with injury 8 days ago, he might have getting better

I've read Ferru won't play in IW. I doubt that he is going to play too long anymore :dodgy:

Carol--Can you provide the quote for what Novak said to the Serbian press. Also, was this very recent, or something he said in the middle of last year which was widely reported. I Love how all the Novak haters piled on without knowing either the context or the timing. And BTW--despite the fact that a few other top pros have families, what's wrong with saying his priorities have changed, if in fact they have?

Can you understand Spanish? if you do I can provide two links of different sources though I think that soon you will be able to read in English too
This is nothing to do with haters like you obviously are and thinking the "the thief believes that everybody is like him". This is an information about what Novak repeatedly has said due to his losses, good excuse, don't you think?

I know and that's why I don't think he will be able to play too long , he never before had injuries but since last year has had more than one injury and at his age it doesn't look too good

Miami Open unfortunately has all kind of problems from the residents of Key Byscaine who are always complaining about the horrendous traffic during those two weeks and doing all kind of complains and troubles. I've heard rumors that this tournament could be moved to Orlando but nothing is for sure, we'll see :-(

I hope they don't move it from Miami. I guess the tournament has been there longer than the residents... they knew it was there when they bought a home. Reminds me of people who buy an apartment above a night club and then complain about the noise.

I agree but the problem is that the City is not doing anything to resolve the problem and not even to spend the money to improve the facilities and I don't understand why when there are so many tourists and local people which love this sport. I wish we would have someone like Larry Ellison that wants to own the place, it would be great :good:

No time to warm up in these tournaments. You maybe get one gimmie and that's it.

That is true in a regular Masters tourney. But, IW and M are exceptions with a 96 player draw, 32 of them seeded and getting a first round bye. Not to mention that none of the top 32 player will play another top 32 player even in the second round. So, one can indeed get a warm-up.

Having said that, Roger will get only two matches (2nd round and 3rd round), where he is the favorite ranking wise. In each of the remaining possible four matches, Roger will be an underdog, starting from the 4th round (assuming seeds hold).

Carol--I asked for a date for the information which doesn't require me to read anything in Spanish--do you know WHEN Novak's quote is from? I can read Spanish and you are welcome to provide the links. I'm not a hater of any player so your "thief" statement is inapplicable to me.There were comments from several posters--not only you---ready to dump on Novak, without any context for his statement or date. Again---WHEN was that quote from Novak?

Roger should draw Querrey in R2 ;):devil

Querrey has played pretty well for awhile, he also seems to be a very nice guy but I don't think he will advance too much in IW, why? I will tell you then.....:popcorn

Sam Querrey will be a seeded player at IW. So, Roger cannot possibly draw him in R2. Further, Sam will be seeded 25th at IW and as such he will be facing a player seeded 1 through 8 in R3. That could be any of the other members of big three, including possibly Novak :devil

Here is info on Novak's priorities in English.

Thanks for providing the full article. As I suspected, Carol totally misrepresented what Novak said, and took his quote out of contest. What was that quote she mentioned about haters??

I didn't misrepresented anything about what Novak said, he has said exactly the same he said in 2014 after to lose several matches in 2013. You were the first one to say something about the haters, don't you remember?. And yes, his priority should be his family starting for his wife and son, hope it's true and not only when he loses.
