Even though Murray is playing well here imo, he doesn't stand a chance, Djokovic just gets too many free points on him. What do you guys think?

Would thoroughly enjoy watching Novak beat him in two, but I think Murray may push it to three. I agree that the likely money is on Novak winning this.

Although the bad omens or wishes about Rafa losing against Raonic, I don't think so
I would say that Rafa will beat Raonic, Muzz to Novak and Berdych to Federer, I can see more probabilities that happens :devil

djokovic should stand inside the baseline on murrays first serve. thus getting inside andy's head again and a probable 1st serve fault..

then on 2nd serve stand back a bit just behind baseline and wait for that essence-of-Sabatini 2nd serve to cough its way over the net at 4mph and djokovic can slap in back past andys flailing wand for a winner.

I wish players would occasionally do that if just to mix things up. but if you get a look at murrays 2nd serve, lets face it..its hittable.

don't mind who wins though, I suppose I'd like andy to reach the final to enhance feeling he's getting back to his level of 2/3years ago. djokovic is so far out ahead as world no1 rank he needs reeling in a bit.

When Novak broke Isner at 3-3, I believe he returned every one of the giant's first serves... and I am pretty sure the commentator said they were all somewhere between 130-140mph. So yeah, I think he should be able to step inside the baseline on Andy's first serve. :snicker

Talking seriously I think that this is the must dull IW that I remember to see
Maybe it's due to the balls which I understand are made in Fhilipinas with a poor quality, before by Head and now Penn or maybe it's the heat and wind but most of the players are not playing so well, too many erros and the serve is not working so well either
I haven't seen a really good match yet though day by day the players are playing better trying to get used to all the inconvenients.
In one word, the winner will be the one who learn better to play against any of those problems and hope that these next days we will see better game and matches

I am disappointed that Tomic has withdrawn. Hopefully he will be OK and bring an equally good performance in Miami

Good to see that Fognini actually turned up to play in the doubles today...;)

The AO Doubles Champions defeated Dodig/Melo the No 2 seeds

As a fellow Italian I am continued to be impressed.Wishing them luck in the final.

Well, Djokovic might not be as sharp since he had 3 days off, but he is in very good form, so I doubt it will have any effect on the outcome of his showdown with Muzz.

Tomic would have been some good practice for Andy's match. On the other hand, he's played Murray so many times, there really aren't any secrets. It's just a matter of execution. Hope he comes out sharp.
