I have looked in my crystal ball and all I see is an overweight golfer.

Is this you Nadal2005RG? or does Lendl get involved with Nadal? or is it Rory McIlroy?

Ok Nostradamus, can you predict us which slams Nadal will win exactly until his very last slam?

I don't know, but I have a gut feeling in the week before each slam event. I expect to be wrong eventually. We'll see.

I've only tried golf once and I didn't like the waiting. I like sports with less waiting around.

Anyway sorry for taking the attention away from Nadal somewhat. I'm not the star of the show. Let's focus on Nadal for the rest of this thread.

You picked the wrong player to support if you don't like waiting. I see Rafa is already carb loading for the WTF.

It's probably just as well to be honest as it likely saved you blowing your life savings. I doubt somehow you guessed these losses correctly before the matches had started: Tsonga AO 2008, Soderling RG 2009, Ferrer AO 2010, Rosol Wimbledon 2012, Darcis Wimbledon 2013. Now if you did guess those right and I very much doubt it, you definitely should open a betting account as you'd be absolutely minted if you had any decent amount of cash down. But again, I'm sure you picked Nadal to win every one of those matches so it doesn't matter.

I don't predict individual matches, just whether or not Nadal will win the slam event. I don't know which round Nadal will lose in, but I have a gut feeling for which slam events he's going to win. And I'm not saying that my gut feeling will always be correct, just that it has been so far. I expect I'll be wrong eventually.
I didn't think Nadal would win AO 2008.
I didn't think Nadal would win RG 2009.
I didn't think Nadal would win AO 2010 (btw you listed that as Ferrer, but the opponent was Murray in AO 2010. Ferrer was AO 2011, and I didn't think Nadal would win AO 2011 either).
I didn't think Nadal would win Wimbledon 2012.
I didn't think Nadal would win Wimbledon 2013.

I didn't think Sean Penn would win the Academy Award in 1995.
I didn't think Sean Penn would win the Academy Award in 1999.
I didn't think Sean Penn would win the Academy Award in 2001.
I had a gut feeling Sean Penn would win the Academy Award in 2003.

I don't mind waiting during tennis. There is less than a minute between each point. When you play golf, its not just that you have to wait for others, its that you have to walk reasonably far just to play the next shot. That can take several minutes.

I like the Academy Awards. I like it how at the 2011 AO, Nadal was going for The Rafa Slam, and at the 2014 AO, Nadal is going for The Double Career Grand Slam. Looks like Laver and Nadal are destined to be together.
