I'd rather see my dead grandma naked. This will be another awful loss in the finals for geriatric Fed.

I don't want this final, I'ld prefer to see some new blood than the same old "déja vu" song...for me it's the worst final possible and I don't know if i'll have the courage to watch it to be honest (same for women's final, the worst possible)

Just how I feel, would have loved to see younger players stepping up. Have been watching snooker instead!

I noticed that. Getting back to 4 would be excellent for Rafa, esp. if he can keep it going into RG.

If you want to the test euphoria level you could now ask:

"How many of you want to see Nadal vs Federer Roland Garros 2017 final ?"

Haha! Well... let's just say that I'm more willing to tolerate that match after this last one. If Roger's able to get to the final he would have to be balling... and then from there any given Sunday. Listen I'm not saying he has a snow ball in hell of chance... but any given Sunday

I'd give it a go but you'd have to favour Rafa.

Fed's been pretty low key about the clay season... not really committed to anything yet. I think he might only play one tuneup for Roland Garros.

I'm hoping Federer only plays one of the clay MS events because he is committed to playing two grass tourneys before Wimbledon. If he plays 2 or more clay MS, RG, and the two grass tourneys that would be a lot of tennis before Wimbledon especially if he goes deep in most of the events.

I'm horrified to hear he intends to play Dubai, Indian Wells and Miami. What on earth for? Skip Miami Roger...

As we have seen Rafa is well ready to play on HC and even that he also has decided to play in Rotterdam and Acapulco which are HC and not in S.America . He will have time to practice on clay later

I am not too happy to hear about him playing those two events when he surely will be at Indian Wells and Miami like every year. I fear for him playing so much hard court tennis; I think it takes too much out of him. I hope he changes that schedule, Carol.

He's missed Miami quite a few times. He's never going to miss Dubai, he lives there for part of the year and it's a nice fast court. Miami is just pointless for him, super slow hard court. IW isn't the fastest either but the thin air allows the balls to move thru quite quickly
