Actually, going forward, Novak is more likely to succeed at USO than at AO as Orange is the new Black.
sad but true

He didn’t beat Roger at the USO final twice in a row. Maybe you are confusing it with Wimbledon. And you mentioned that he beat the old Swiss. It should not be surprising that Djokovic beats an old Swiss.Nole beat the old Swiss in USO's final twice in a row so Nole's better for me

I think Fed needs to win another USO to put this beyond reach. 6 + 6 will be too hard to top specially with such a good spread.
And if Fed wins another USO, he'll be the only player in history who has won atleast 6 slams in three different majors which is insane when you think about it.
Why are you predicting that Federer will win USO this year?
Just a hunch or something else?

I'd love that mark. He's the only one who has won 3 of them 5 different times, pretty sure no one else has won 3 different majors 3 times or more.
But when Rafa wins the AO again, he'll be the only one besides Laver with the double career Slam. And I'm pretty sure we're talking Open Era here, so he'd be the only one. And he's awfully close to doing it....I'd love that mark. He's the only one who has won 3 of them 5 different times, pretty sure no one else has won 3 different majors 3 times or more.

You said "Orange is the New Black" on another thread, and I'm not sure I get your analogy. Where're you goin' with that?In view of the fact that orange is the new black, Ralph does not have much chance at AO. You should expect him to exit much earlier next year there.

Ha! Somehow I thought you meant that Connecticut debutante Roger Federer was finally going to get caught with his fingers in the cookie jar and get done for it. OK, but didn't Rafa win the USO when it was the faster? Even twice?Ao is fast hard court slam and Uso is medium pace hard court slam nowadays. It used to be the other way around a few years ago.

May be the 2010 one. I think by 2013 USO has considerably slowed down.
p.s. Was it the 2010 or 2013, when Ralph had a phenomenal serve?
Some people might call that unbalanced, but that wouldn't be anyone who doesn't count clay, I guess. (Note the double-negative with 'wouldn't'.) As to the rest, it's your opinion, and it suits your agenda. The notion of "at his best" is a whole thing, but Nadal, "at his best" has not just often been better than Djokovic, but he's been that longer. And "at his best," he's been better than Roger, too. And each, at his best, has been better, at times than the others. Taking the longer view, Nadal is still better than Djokovic.I don't know about you but I much rather have 6 at three than 2 at all four. Also I'd say Djoker is going to be a serious threat at RG again so he will be in the running for a second career slam as well and at his best he's simply a better player than Nadal ever was.
