Today one of the popular players on the WTA tour is turning 25 - Caroline Wozniacki. Yeah still hard to believe she's not older - been on tour for ages many say. Well - here is a bit about her:
10 years ago she began her career - 19th of July to be precise - 15 years old. I'd like to congratulate her for all the happy hours you've enjoyed fans all over the world. I appreciate the way you're a role model, ambassador of tennis and always with a smile - Miss Sunshine you're IT.
Little statistics:
Won the girls Wimbledon slam in 2006, runner up in Australian Open junior slam. Won Orange Bowl (unofficial world championship for juniors) 2006 in Key Biscane, Florida.
Since her first victory in New Haven in 2008 she's ended the year in top 10.
Taken part in main draw in all slams - 34 times - since French Open in 2007.
Been in 40 WTA finals( included 2 slams) - winning 23 of them.
Since her first title in Stockholm 2008 she's won at least 1 title per year.
10. October 2010 she reached the #1 spot and kept that for 67weeks only interupted by Kim Clijsters for 1 week february 2011.
