Great job F3. Well done on a terrific comeback, his 2nd consecutive title and his first ATP 500. Good week for Del. Hopefully he'll learn from this and move onward and upward.

They do more talking in this award ceremony than a slam final does. Geez.

Yeah ridiculously long wait before the presentation. Felt sorry for Delbonis having to wait through all that.

Great win for Fognini. He's really on a roll. Tough one to swallow for Delbonis as he was so close to winning. Still, a brilliant week for him. Ranking has shot up, confidence has surged and he's a really talented player on the rise. His game seems perfect for clay so I'll be interested to see how he plays on other surfaces.

How F3 came out of that with a win, I'll never know. Hell, I was just happy that he didn't retire due to running out of racquets! Didn't much care for the temper tantrum, but I'm glad he was able to pull himself together and not fold. It was ugly. But a win is a win.
I definitely feel bad for Delbonis. That was a match/title he probably should have won.

And what's with those boat propeller trophies?

Could you believe that? Including two points in a row? Crazy.

Fog did well just to get that 1st match point back in play off a great serve. DelBonis looked great at net most of this week but missed at the worst moment. Has to be a painful loss but I'm glad for the Fog. Is this his first trip to the top 20? He certainly has the game to stay there and even get close to top 10.

Big congrats to Fabulous for saving 3 MP's and winning his first ATP 500 and first appearance in the top 20! :clap

In the quotes post-match, Delbonis was gracious. He credited F3's great play for taking the match points he had. And he said, rightly, that while disappointed, he is taking a lot of positives away. It's fairly rare to win your first ATP final. Fabio did have a mini-meltdown in the 2nd, (though the time violation on him at that pointed seemed a bit rough and ill-considered.) But credit to him that he pulled himself back together and again played the really lovely tennis he'd played all week to get himself to the final.

I'm really happy for Fognini, and I'll have my eye out for Del Bonis. I think he could be real thing...at least on clay.

The propellers are for Fabio to fly high from here on. Very suiting!:D

Didn't I tell you he'll do well?

feel kinda bad for Delbony, but hooly moly, isn't this awesome for Fab? unbelievable.

interesting trophy indeed. i guess it's because of Hamburg being a port town (btw: in other, completely unrelated news from this weekend: Vienna has recently overtaken Hamburg population-wise and now stands as the second largest City in the german speaking countries. hope this bodes well for our own 250 in the fall ;)).

You may thank to my fellow Romanians, among others, more and more of them go to study in Vienna and then they remain there to work afterwards:D, Hamburg is not such a popular destination

Very happy for the Fog even if Delboner would have deserved to win after such a great tourney
