I cannot recall to have seen two players ranked outside of the top 100 to dispute an ATP final.
Florin was ranked 101 and Leonardo only 138

Also, this year only folks ranked outside of 100 managed to defeat TMF. He is undefeated against top 100 players. This is a banner year for folks ranked outside 100.

The Argentinian Mayer won, beating the German Mayer 6-4, 4-6, 6-3. Funnily enough, LL Andrey Rublev also won Croatia last week. Supposedly hadn't happened since 2009, and now 2 weeks in a row. What goes on?

Surely it is a conspiracy. Every time something statistically unlikely happens, there is a conspiracy behind it. This time it is obvious that... that... well, I´ll think of something and I´ll let you know.
