I got that yesterday and refreshed the page, without losing the reply I was sending. It hasn't happened since...

^^lol that 'bottom' clip might be from when they try and "pull some birds" in a bar, but guess what ?..they are gay..

but that does not stop our intrepid duo, they attempt to chat up the ladies with efforts like "hi birds" "come back lesbians" and "oh you are lebsians ?, don't worry, I will cure you"..

Richard Richard and Eddie Hitler mess it up....once again.

First one below I always remember haha. Saw that years ago. 3 other good ones there too. Haven't seen that series in so long.

[split] General Doping/PEDs Discussion

Broken_Shoelace said:
As far as doping goes, I find it funny how the accusations try to implicate specific players known for physicality, but never 30+ year old men who are doing superhuman things for their age.

Why are the admins not deleting this post or taking any other action when talk about specific players are involved? or do we have different rules for different posters?

What would be the justification for deleting that post?

:please: Come on.

There is clearly a discussion of specific players possibly doping going on in this thread, whether
or not the specific players are explicitly named. Now that you are choosing to ignore it, you should at least be consistent and allow discussion of possible doping by players, whenever the players are not explicitly named, even if it is obvious to everyone who they are talking about.

Actually, nobody is naming anyone, or suggesting that any players are doping, either explicitly or otherwise. You should read it more closely. There's a simple inconsistency being pointed out, and that's all...

Once again, here's the rule:

"Don't name players unless they have been explicitly implicated through failed or refused test(s)."

Broken named no player(s), nor made any direct accusations. Additionally, his post referenced the phenomena of certain users singling out and accusing a certain group of players, as opposed to others. Again, not naming names or directly accusing.

The rule is really quite straightforward: Don't name names in a way which directly accuses them of doping, unless they have been caught doing so. Don't write: "Player X has used PEDs" -- unless it's someone like Cilic.

Are you an idiot? (the answer is yes, by the way).

I'm not the one throwing accusations. Somebody else is and I'm asking him why is he limiting his accusations to some players but not others. In fact, in a previous post, I explicitly mentioned how Federer is remarkable and his accomplishments have nothing to do with doping.

I mean are you seriously that big of a jackass?

I think by this time everybody knows that all posters in this forum are idiots except for you.
I don't want to throw insults back at you and bring me down to your level. Have a good day, genius!

If accusing a certain group of players is against the policy of the forum, the solution is to
ban such posts, which you have already done. Two wrongs do not make it a right. The way to fix it is not by accusing everyone around.

Let us face it. You happen to agree with the view of BS and so you are not clamping down
all these discussions of players showing "evidence" or not of possible doping. Whether the
players are named explicitly or not is immaterial. Any regular reader of the forum knows who
the players involved are.

GSM, Stop means stop. No further posts regarding said subject. You're subsequent posts have been deleted.

There is absolutely nothing controversial by any standards in my post, but it gets deleted while so many posts that deals with the discussion of possible doping stay on in this thread.

A classic example of arbitrary deletions.

It's not arbitrary. A simple request was made earlier to get back on topic. You're the only person not adhering to that request. I know you read quite well, but it appears you have an axe to grind so you'll see what you want to see.

This is why people lose faith in the system. A non-controversial post by me gets deleted; however,
posts with lots of conspiracy theory and controversy stay on.

Letting a discussion that involves specific players possibly doping which is against the stated
policy of this forum go on (not to mention an admin participating in it) and then suddenly at
one point of time asking people to stop it is not principle based moderation. On top of that,
finally an innocuous post of mine that neither talks about specific player nor about doping
gets axed for the crime of pointing out that two wrongs do not make it a right.

RE: General Doping/PEDs Discussion

If you find a post inappropriate you have the recourse of reporting it. Did you report any post in the thread that you felt shouldn't be allowed?

Did you send a pm to a mod or admin stating you thought the thread was going wayward?

Any further discussion about how this issue is being handled should be done in pm's. This thread has been hijacked enough. So send any future responses to me or the other mods in a pm.

Thank you.

An innocuous post of mine got deleted without any explanation from the doping/PED thread.
I hereby request a committee of moderators to examine it and consider restoring it.

There was a post in the doping/PED thread from an administrator saying

"enough already; get back onto topic".

That would tend to indicate that people are going off topic. That simply was not the case.
People were talking about possible evidence of doping shown by lack of tiredness etc. I am
not sure all of those posts are allowed under the policies of TF. If everything was allowed as per the policies, simply saying "enough already" is autocratic and amounts to curbing a legitimate discussion.
On the other hand, If some or all of them were against the policies of TF, they should be deleted and the violators should be warned. Instead, simply saying "get back onto topic" would not solve the problem. The same issue would reappear again and again. Finally, you cannot have it both
ways.

Is this (Let a discussion evolve and then when an admin finds it unpalatable, ask people
to get back on topic when in fact people are talking about the topic; and cap it with deleting
innocuous posts) how TF wants to operate? How and why is this not arbitrary?

I was asked whether I did anything to report any posts that I found inappropriate. I did
by posting a message in that doping thread. The answer I got was that the post was indeed
allowed and my contention is wrong.

If everything that went on in that thread was within the rules and policies of TF, then
why are people asked to shut up?
