Yes Nadal said he won't play India wells or Miami this will set him up for a great clay court season, giving his body time to recover.:yahoo::yesyes::dance2:

According to the tennis.com scores page Federer is playing the Indian Wells challenger... (he is the "player to watch").

If you think federer going to save India wells from being one of the worst events since the start of the big 4, you are wrong, with no one left to test federer its going be a Cakewalk event.

Nadal average a slam every season at Roland garros if he plays to Federer age he will have 23 grand slam titles.because of the 3 slams he wins at the other slams this should keep Me and other Nadal fans happy.

I don't think the evil one will get that high. But if he does...then Fed can't leave the sport until he has 24+

Considering Nadal's current physical issue to proclaim what you have stated here is at best a stretch. As an ardent fan of Fed's I would never put such an emphatic statement of victories for him at Wimbledon. I get your a passionate fan of Nadal but I would temper your expectations.

not really my style to gloat on failure, but with posters like him, woe betide him if Rafa doesn't win RG this year

Well, people are entitled to do a bit of wishful thinking if they want. It's best if they realise that they're being optimistic rather than realistic though. My wishful thinking is normally that we're going to have a British winner which we don't get very often. I realise it's a bit of wishful thinking on my part & if & when we don't get a British winner I see it as the best player won in the end.

So now nadal evil, even then he is the most modest person in the world and fairest. I would call Federer evil took the spotlight away from nadal then he cry like baby at A0 09.

OK fair enough but it not as weird as it sounds, nadal can get to 19 with just FO, if he can stay fit.

neither of them are saints mate. Roger can appear a bit conceited, but so can Rafa. How else do you explain his self indulgent complaints about things that would work in his favour specifically. Ranking points and WTF surface immediately come to mind. Love the tennis, but please don't be deluded about who these guys are. They're human

Nadal is no saint and neither is Fed. Nadal is gracious but he has as big an ego as Fed does. That's not a bad thing. The more I read some of the posts by some on this board who are hardcore Nadalites Moxie stands out on this forum as articulate and informative of them all. She presents her opinions with clarity and value. I may not agree but she is an ardent fan of tennis. These are heady times to be a Fed fan but I remember how depressing it was not so long ago. To make such declarative statements if victory as fact and not speculative can come back and bite one in the ads.

Agreed. And Moxie is an excellent poster, and gutsy for sticking around even if her guy isn't there. That's the way it should be. Tennis first, fandom after. If I had one wish though, I wish she wouldn't look at all things Federer through a Rafa-lense :D

It's not just me, mate. When Roger looks in the mirror, he sees Rafa over his right shoulder. Or he should, if you ask Darth. :lulz2:

I will just add Rafael nadal is more modest in the way he talks than, Federer. Also nadal gives a lot to his fans he once spent the day practice with a fan during a grand slam event.

Well first of all I did say that Federer can appear conceited. But please don't confuse false modesty with modesty where Rafa is concerned. Saying that he isn't the favourite when he so obviously is, isn't modest. It's a special kind of arrogance laced with deflection. Who cares!? I rather like that Roger says I'm the favourite. What I don't like are poncy jackets being brought on to Centre Court!

And as for practicing with fans. Go on to youtube mate. You'll see Federer doing that time and time again. And I have no doubt other tennis players do it as well
