What happened to dull? Did he get roasted?

No he didn’t play so he was undefeated in Paris! :good: He’s on a beach somewhere with his hot girlfriend eating amazing food and just having a great time. :clap:B-)

I hope a stingray stings his fat butt and he withdraws from the WTF

His butt is not fat, it's a beautiful fit muscular bubble butt. A perfect butt actually, a legendary one that women can't resist and men are envious of. The stingray will just look at Rafa's butt and will be amazed and enjoy the view. :good::clap:

Fed Interview where he says he was shamed to be a mental rat prior to first Wimbledon title.

“I think that mentally I was really a rat.

“Very thin and without head (laughter)."

I really do think that 2019 will be his final year, or at least semi-full year. I could see him coming back to play grass season and Basel in 2020, and maybe Basel again after that, but I think 2019 will be the last that we see Roger on tour as a regular participant.

You wonder what changes this might mean:

The 37-year-old insists something will have to give in 2019.
That wasn't a quote from Roger, but an editorial comment, as I read it. But he was interviewing the man. He's dragging around 4 kids and his 37-year-old body, though. It won't go on forever. El Dude thinks that next year could be his last semi-full year.

My initial reaction was something was wrong with Fed physically, after reading your post.

However, I investigated and found another take on it. Queen's is outdoor grass court and is not an ideal place to practice for an indoor hard tourney. Due to lack of availability of good practice courts, Fed practiced in Queens before his first match.

Now, he does not want to practice on grass any more and that might be the reason for cancellation as opposed to something being wrong with him physically.

I would have wondered why he'd practice on indoor grass, at all. I figured they had indoor HCs there. No? What would be the point of practicing on grass for the WTF?

There's a rumor on twitter that he might withdraw.

Just to be clear, I have no inside info. It is just when you add it all up - being 37 and all it entails, including nagging injuries, younger and hungrier guys coming up, and a family - it seems that we're nearing the end.

That said, if he resurges in 2019 and wins another 5+ titles and finishes the year with 104-105, I imagine he'll be might tempted to try to catch Jimmy Connors. But if he finishes with another 2-3 titles and is at 101-102, that will be less of an incentive. He won't want to limp across the finish line for another two or three years.

How much more can the man do? As much as Federer and his fans (including myself) would like to see him finish with more slams than Rafa and Novak, I don't think he views it as "win or bust" like some of his fans here. No matter what happens, he'll retire as one of the very best to ever play the game.

Even though I'm not a Fed fan, I am an admirer. (At this stage of the game, how can I not be?) He is and always will be one of the best to ever play the game. Whatever he decides to do for the next year or 3, that's up to him, but it won't change what he's done. A reminder that he's still #3 in the world, and we'll see what he comes up with next.

He did not choose to practice in Queens. Apparently, indoor hardcourts to practice are difficult to come by in that area it seems. Federer was actually complaining about the lack of good practice courts similar to the actual courts on which the tourney is being played.
