A bit disappointing. Matteo lost the plot. Wasn't aggressive enough in the 2nd and 3rd sets.

A bit disappointing. Matteo lost the plot. Wasn't aggressive enough in the 2nd and 3rd sets.
He's in a new stratosphere in the last few months, and he had a crowd 100% behind the other guy, plus the pressure of trying to get into the YEC. A lot going on in Matteo's head, I'd guess. Some good tennis was played today.

I know. He's not a mental giant yet. Maybe needs to see a sports psych. I would just like to see him continue to push and move forward especially when it gets mental.

The more talented, overall better, with higher upside, more titles, and specially, a top class one handed backhand won. Brrfftttt!!! :p

Is there a job to pay to be just a pain in the ass? I want it for me. It is so much fun.


P.S. Great match, great effort from both players. It is "just" a ATP 500 semi. Think about that when people try to "fix" tennis.
