Isn't Silent KK and Matteo tennis Doppelgangers. They have very similar playing styles.

Karen's making his job harder to defend Paris next week by getting into long battles with Qualifiers! In his next match, neither Schwartzman or Querrey will be a day at the beach; whoever wins tomorrow! :nono:      :ptennis:

I don't agree with that. I think Berrettini's is much more interesting.
I agree Mox. Karen is a bit of a ball basher. Matteo has much more feel and variety.
Exactly. Matteo has more variety, changes pace often on the BH by slicing, uses the drop shots and volleys also well. The only similarity they have is the powerful stroke.

Karen defended both Moscow and Paris titles. He failed in Moscow.

You’re just bedazzled by Matteo. ;-):

Funny. Our sport cable channel trasmitted all week long the event in Vienna. While I was watching Monfils-Sinner first set, the screen got frozen. After a few minutes of looking at that picture of Sinner preparing to serve, suddenly they started to show the live transmission from Basel...Wawrinka vs. Tiafoe. Oh well, as long as they didn't switch to poker :)

If Thiem does win the Vienna Open tournament, it will be interesting on how he will view the Paris Masters tournament. Paris Masters will be his 4th tournament in 5 weeks and he will definitely World Tour Finals so that means he will play about 5 tournaments in a 7 week span. The one thing he does not want to do is overplay or get injured before 2020 Australian Open

Pablo gives up, lucky Austrian *******. Hopefully Matteo sweeps the ground with his ** and send him back to his German fellows!

Diego won the first, he’s really a tough opponent but what’s up with Karen?
He should manage him easily. Poor results for him.

Yes, I like him. But wondering how bad Karen was.
I only saw the first set, buy Karen had a big lead, early on, up two breaks, I think. Diego got it back on serve, but then Karen led in the TB. Diego just out-maneuvered the big guy. He pulled that first set out from under him.
