How many pages of discussion we would have if it was Federer or Nadal losing to Coric by this score line?

Andy has a few fans here, but they surely do not come up here in bunches to try to find excuses. There is not a lot to say, the way Andy has played.

Berdych wins 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 to advance to the semifinals! :clap

Djokovic or Ilhan is his next opponent.

While I think that Coric has a potential to be very good, this was just a bad day at the office for Andy.

He has been prone to big upsets following his AO final defeats.

On the other hand, they showed the statistics that Roger and Nole are tied at 83% winning percentage on hard courts. Wow, I didn't know Nole was doing so great. He recorded his 401 win on this surface in his last match.:clap

Muzz has done 56 erros? come on, it's clear that he played pretty bad, always one of lime and one of sand

And about the ranking, I'm not concerned about it, the numbers change very often

the court positioning is so obviously wrong, but he's never really wanted to change it. I have absolutely no sympathy for him. When I watch him play I can never understand how he was ever able to beat Roger

Judging from the highlights, the average rally lenght in the Coric Murray match was 9387534985 shots. This kid is a defense machine, I wonder about his results on clay...

...anyway Murray shots were quite short on this match. Federer will pose him very different questions.

Has every shot in the book and never really owned up to his promise; another Frenchman wasted! :cover :nono :puzzled

I remember when Gasquet threw a temper tantrum on the sit-down and threw his socks onto the court (which nobody retrieved for him).
And another tantrum where he yelled at the umpire in such a psychotic tone "you are not my father!", I'm not surprised he never converted his potential.
He's not all there mentally, to put it lightly.

Wait. You're not talking about Nadal? That's a first.

Oh I love seeing Rafa freakin' out over nothing; normally a time-violation he's not happy about! No one's more spoiled out there, needing and wanting everything to play out at his pace! Loved when he joined Player Council to change things to his liking and it all failed! Thank goodness Roger was the President at the time and ignored it and his stupid ideas; one was to make the ranking points span 2 years instead of just a calendar cycle to protect his #1 ranking a few years ago! :nono  :dodgy:
