I'm not a huge Bryan Bros fan but I must say I'm almost more gutted for them that they didn't won the WTF last year than that they couldn't complete the CYGS. Had they won the WTF, they would've had NCYGS, WTF, and Olympic Gold during 12 months.

Paes/Stepanek won the not-so-competitive final against Peya/Soares in two sets, 6-1, 6-3.

I'd really like also other doubles events than Wimbledon and Davis Cup to have the best-of-five format. This really wasn't a great match but for example the SF against the Bryans or the RG final would've probably been great matches with Bo5.

Maybe Bo3 makes doubles a bit more attractive for good singles players but most of them don't play doubles at slams anyway. So Bo5 wouldn't really be a problem.

I agree that they should make doubles 5 sets in grand slams. I also believe that
they should increase the prize money considerably. Currently, the winning team gets
about 250,000 dollars and they have to split it between themselves. So, each player
gets about 125,000 after winning the trophy.

They should give the winning doubles team (not per player) at least a million given that
the winning singles player gets 2.6 million. That way each player in the doubles team
will get about 20% of the earnings of the singles winner, which sounds fair.
