Tood bad for JMDP. Maybe he turns it around. I guess I'll just watch highlights later on.

On serve in the 2nd set, 4:3, I opened a live streaming video to check this one as well.

Sam breaks Delpo and will serve for the match at 6:5. Is it the nerves, not playing competitively for a long time that he got broken in 11th game of each sets.

Sam wins it 7:5 7:5.

Sam takes it 7-5 7-5.

Sorry to see Delpo not make it, but overall he must be pleased with his week in Delray Beach. A good comeback tournament and as far as I know, he's come through unscathed.

A surprising result, that one. Dimitrov doesn't seem to be going in the right direction.
Not according to their H2H record which was 3:0 for Ram.
Great job by him, he put himself in the spotlight and the conversation for a spot on the DC team for the USA.

Wasnt Ram more of a doubles guy?
He is more of a grass player, he won in Newport twice. Otherwise, I am not sure about his record in doubles, but he has been the perennial bottom top 100 player. This run will bring him to a new career high at almost 32 y of age.

Congratulations to Sam. He was in a slump for a while. This is a nice boost for him.:dance3::pompoms:
